4 years ago we officially became the bestest couple ever :)
pan fried tilapia with a spicy cilantro garlic sauce and corn mashed potatoes
So I have a love affair with anything spicy and anything chocolate… JEALOUS!?
I started going to the gym and I figured, what better to eat for breakfast than oatmeal? I hate oatmeal. My parents fed it to me everyday when I was a child. Bleh. So this is about a half cup plain uncooked oatmeal, boiled with water (I wish I had soymilk still). To make it edible to my liking, I added two table spoons of milk chocolate, a teaspoon of agave syrup, a pinch of cayan pepper, and one grind of sea salt.
I’m still trying to get past phlegmy consistency of oatmeal. Other than that, it was omnomnomnoms.
Chocolate Cajan and Sea Salt Potato Chips.
Our Oscar snack.
A simple lunch.
Miso broth with chicken cilantro wontons. Rosemary, thyme, pepper, and Sriracha sauce for flavor.
I’m off work today so I cooked myself a wonderful Sunday Brunch.
Sourdough Bread French Toast with Strawberries, Agave Syrup, and Sea Salt. Turkey Chips on the side! (Thinly sliced turkey breast pan fried until crispy).
Omnomnoms
I know I haven’t blogged in awhile, I’ve been super busy. But when I do have the time to hang out, I try to eat amazing food to reward myself for all my hard work.
one. Crawfish etouffee from Oddfellows Rest in Hoboken, NJ
two. Karaka Kogashi Miso Ramen from Ippuddo in the East Village, NY, NY
‘Ippudo chintan’ based noodle soup, a dark, rich broth made from charred miso with Ippudo special blended hot spice, topped with pork belly chashu, 1/2 boiled egg, cabbage, spinach, naruto
I’m going to try to link what I post here to what I review on YELP. I usually YELP every Sunday so for detailed reviews of the food I’ve eaten check out my page!!!
